On December 7, the winter sunshine of Ordos shone on the grassland, and the "THE YELLOW RIVER" photography art exhibition was unveiled at the Ordos Culture and Art Center. This is not a simple exhibition, but a deep dialogue with the mother river, the result of a 70-day video survey spanning two years, and a spiritual epic written by the children of the Yellow River. The exhibition is expected to run until January 8, 2025.
Images of the Yellow River have been regarded as a source of inspiration by numerous outstanding photographers at home and abroad. Today, under the guidance of our predecessors, we set foot on this eternal river, and with collective observation, symbiotic perception, and immersive touch, we have embarked on a respectful and intimate visit. The photographers come from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Sichuan, Shandong, Jiangsu, Hunan, Gansu, Shanxi, Zhejiang and other places. They gather here like branches of the Yellow River, with awe in their hearts, touching the body of the river with their lenses, listening to the roar of the river, and capturing the power of the Yellow River.

The source of the Yellow River is as clear as a mirror. Photographers have prayed devoutly for the blessings of the gods of heaven and earth, hoping to give them the light of wisdom and spiritual strength to complete a profound visual expression of the Yellow River Basin. Their works attempt to sort out the interweaving of reality and history in the nature, beliefs, suffering, land, villagers and human geography of the Yellow River Basin, and construct an artistic carrier with inheritance significance. Each frame of the image is a hymn dedicated to the Yellow River, a gaze and watch on civilization.

They are like tributaries of the Yellow River, carrying the love of the grassland and the rush of the river, giving the exhibition an unparalleled regional resonance and vitality.
