From the moment the first David Afternoon Tea was held, it was destined to be a moment for us to get together, get to know each other and communicate! This moment will come again on April 12th from 14:30 to 16:30!

In March, we completed the second stop of "Beyond the Bay" in Jiangmen, exploring and practicing the special photographic language of black and white photography. In the combination of practice and theory, the students learned in depth: Why use black and white photography? How does black and white photography form its unique way of expression? How to use black and white tones and contrast transformations to express tone, intonation, and metaphors and abstractions of black and white. During the shooting process, through the students' independent exploration and observation, and the instructor's detailed analysis and narration of the students' works, the students learned how to transform records into expressions. This teaching method that takes advantage of the situation is unique.

In 2017, we planted a seed of dream, and now it has grown into a cluster of stars. Art is never an epiphany, but a lifelong setback and growth. In 2025, we hope to work side by side with more light chasers holding lenses to illuminate the soul deep in the works.

When the colors fade, light and shadow become the scale of time. This March, let us use shadow as ink and light as pen to explore the pure language of photography in Jiangmen, the hometown of overseas Chinese in the Greater Bay Area, for 3 days. "Beyond the Bay 9-City Plan" is a project on in-depth exploration and learning of photographic language. During the walk in the ancient village of Zhaoqing, the first stop held in February, we conducted theoretical and practical learning and exploration on the border, structure and deep cognition of lines in the picture. In this course, the participating team members fundamentally understood the relationship between the border and the reader, the role of vertical and parallel lines in the structure in the expression of the picture, how time is structured through lines in the picture, and the role of various lines in communication.
